The ONLY Heavenly Being to whom we may pray to ask for remission of our sins is God the Father, not to the Apostles or to any other saints, not to any man, EVEN NOT TO JESUS but in His name, even though He also has the power to forgive sins (Matthew 9:6, Mark 2:10, Luke 5:24).
We pray to God the Father in the name of Jehovah God who is Jesus Christ the Lord (John 14:1-14), according to Matthew 1:21, Luke 1:35, 2:11, Titus 4:13, John 1:1-3, et cetera, according to the whole Bible (John 5:39).
Jesus is Jehovah God the Redeemer, the Savior God in flesh. Should we not recognize Jesus as Jehovah God, He cannot forgive our sins, He cannot save us (Matthew 10:32, Luke 12:8, John 8:24, Romans 10:9-11, Philippians 2:9-11).
Matthew 6:9-13 CESAIRE Literal Translation
(9) Then, thus, pray you:
Father! Of us, The One in the heavens, is holy the Name of You.
(10) Will come the kingdom of You. Is done the will of You, as in heaven and on land.
(11) The bread of us, the substance, you give to us today.
(12) And You remit to us the debts of us and as we remit to the debtors of us.
(13) And You do not carry us into trial but you will rescue us from the wicked.
GOD THE FATHER GAVE JESUS (GOD) TO DIE IN THE PLACE OF SINNERS FOR OUR SINS. HOWEVER, GOD THE FATHER DOES NOT LISTEN TO SINNERS. HENCE, WE MUST BE WITHOUT SINS FOR GOD TO HEAR OUR PRAYERS.
But we know that God does not hear sinful ones, but if anyone is God fearing, and does His will, He hears that one. John 9:31 LITV
John 14:12-14 CLV
(12) Verily, verily, I am saying to you, he who is believing in Me, the works which I am doing he also will be doing, and greater than these will he be doing, for I am going to the Father."
(13) And whatever you should be requesting in My name, this I will be doing, that the Father should be glorified in the Son."
(14) If you should ever be requesting anything of Me in My name, this I will be doing."
We witnessed the most beautiful people overtaken by diseases and death even though we pray for them. Prayer failure is not the outcome that is promised when the elders of the church (synagogue) will pray for the sick among the believers in the church. It is written that the elders will pray, and Jesus will put the sick back on his or her feet! James also emphasizes that the prayer of faith can also forgive the sins of the sick of the church. James assumes that all the members of the church are in perfect harmony with the will of God (Jesus), free of doctrines or teachings of men. The churches or synagogues that are driven by mixed doctrines and teachings of men DO worship, but the worship is vain or pointless (Mark 7:7). Therefore, no effective prayers can be exhibited in such assemblies.
(14) Is any among you sick? Let him call the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. (15) And the prayer of faith will save those being sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he may have committed sin, it will be forgiven him. James 5:14-15 LITV
Mark 7:7 CLV
(7) Yet in vain are they revering Me, teaching for teachings the directions of men."
Step 1
and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. Luke 24:47 ASV
Step 2
Matthew 7:21-23 ASV
(21) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.
(22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many mighty works?
(23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Step 3
He that has My commandments and keeps them, it is that one who loves Me; and the one that loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and will reveal Myself to him. (John 14:21 LITV)
(1) Behold, Jehovah's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: (2) but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, so that he will not hear. (3) For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue muttereth wickedness. (4) None sueth in righteousness, and none pleadeth in truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity. Isaiah 59:1-4 ASV
(26) And likewise the Spirit also joins in to help our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes on our behalf with groanings that cannot be uttered. (27) But the One searching the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because He petitions on behalf of the saints according to God. Romans 8:26-27 LITV
Matthew 6:8 CLV
(8) Do not, then, be like them, for aware is God, your Father, of what you have need before you request Him.
Leviticus 11:45 ASV
(45) For I am Jehovah that brought you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
1 Peter 1:16 ASV
(16) because it is written, Ye shall be holy; for I am holy.
Matthew 6:14-15 CLV
(14) "For if you should be forgiving men their offenses, your heavenly Father also will be forgiving you. (15) Yet if you should not be forgiving men their offenses, neither will your Father be forgiving your offenses.
John 9:31 ASV
(31) We know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and do his will, him he heareth.
Isaiah 1:15 ASV
(15) And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you; yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
Matthew 6:5-8 CLV
(5) "And whenever you may be praying, you shall not be as the hypocrites, for they are fond of standing in the synagogues and at the corners of the squares to be praying, so that they may appear to men. Verily, I am saying to you, They are collecting their wages!
(6) "Now you, whenever you may be praying, enter into your storeroom, and, locking your door, pray to your Father Who is in hiding, and your Father, Who is observing in hiding, will be paying you.
(7) Now, in praying, you should not use useless repetitions even as those of the nations. For they are supposing that they will be hearkened to in their loquacity.
(8) Do not, then, be like them, for aware is God, your Father, of what you have need before you request Him.
(20) And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, How did the fig tree immediately wither away? (21) And Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do what is done to the fig tree, but even if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea, it shall be done. (22) And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Matthew 21:20-22 ASV
(15) And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you; yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. (16) Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; (17) learn to do well; seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. (18) Come now, and let us reason together, saith Jehovah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:15-18 ASV

(22) Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. (23) Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrews 10:22-23 KJV
(24) And Jesus seeing him said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! (25) For it is easier for a camel to enter in through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. (26) And they that heard it said, Then who can be saved? (27) But he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. (28) And Peter said, Lo, we have left our own, and followed thee. (29) And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or wife, or brethren, or parents, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, (30) who shall not receive manifold more in this time, and in the world to come eternal life. Luke 18:24-30 ASV

(10) And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence: (10) For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: (11) And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Matthew 6:16-18 DRB
(16) And when you fast, be not as the hypocrites, sad. For they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Amen I say to you, they have received their reward.
(17) But thou, when thou fastest anoint thy head, and wash thy face;
(18) That thou appear not to men to fast, but to thy Father who is in secret: and thy Father who seeth in secret, will repay thee.
